Mindfulness – Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being aware of what you are feeling in the moment. It helps to cultivate awareness and brings focus to thoughts, feelings and sensations occurring in the present moment. Many people who have practiced mindfulness report improvements in mood, stress level, and overall quality of life. This topic will be covered over three workshops: (1) Meditation, (2) Self-care, and (3) Working on Vulnerabilities.
Bring you lunch and drop-in for this workshop which aims to provide a supportive learning environment for students to develop a regular mindfulness practice to better manage stress by keeping calm and collected.
