Mindfulness – Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being aware of what you are feeling in the moment. It helps to cultivate awareness and brings focus to thoughts, feelings and sensations occurring in the present moment. Many people who have practiced mindfulness report improvements in mood, stress level, and overall quality of life. This topic will be covered over three workshops: (1) Meditation, (2) Self-care, and (3) Working on Vulnerabilities.
This workshop will introduce the concept of self-care and wellness. Our Welfare counsellors will discuss and share how to use these concepts to create a state of inner calm and a more compassionate and supportive relationship with yourself.
