How to Apply (International Students)
Students wishing to apply for a place at VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology), can do so by choosing one of the following options:
1.If you are an International Student, apply now by filling in, either:
(a)  Higher Education International Students Application Form (PDF)
Or
You can also complete an online Higher Education international application form by clicking the link below.

(b) Vocational Education or English International Students Application Form (PDF)

2.If you are an International Student, apply now by filling in, either:
(a) Professional Development and Vendor Certification Training (Short Courses) Application Form (PDF)
Courses through VTAC
You can apply directly for courses/programs listed in the VTAC Guide at VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology) if you are:
- NOT currently studying Year 12 in Australia and
- Intending to submit an application only to VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology)
All current Year 12 students applying for VIT courses listed with VTAC must apply through VTAC directly. Click here for more information about How to Apply

Applicants who are intending to apply to more than one institution and all current Year 12 students must apply through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).

Before you submit your Application
Before enrolling in any VIT course, please make sure you are aware of the course content, duration and mode of delivery. If you do not have this information, then it can be obtained by emailing [email protected]
Ensure that the application form has been fully completed and signed and all course entry requirement documents have been provided.
For International Students these may include:Â English proficiency documentation (IELTS), Academic transcript, and a copy of your passport.
For Domestic Students’ Professional Development and Short Courses, these may include:  ID (Identification such as Birth Certificate, Passport, Driver’s Licence and/or Australian Citizen Certificate)
For Domestic Full Course Students these may include:Â ID and Academic Records
What happens next?
Upon receipt of your application you will be sent a letter of offer, detailing total course costs, course duration and course details. For International Students this will be sent to you or your education agent via email and will include a copy of the Enrolment Acceptance.
If your application is approved and you accept the offer you must submit the Enrolment Acceptance to VIT. Once VIT receives the signed Enrolment Acceptance it will accept payment (via bank draft or electronic transfer) and confirm your enrolment.
If the submission documentation is incomplete your application will not be processed and you (or your education agent) will be contacted for the required information.
